February 23, 2017: Senior’s Seminar

Guest speaker will provide an overview of benefits available to Seniors, services within the County and Income Tax information.  Starts at 5:00pm.  Light supper will be provided. No fee.

February 28, 2017: Introduction to Yoga Class

Instruction provided by Embrace Yoga from Lac La Biche.  This will be a beginners yoga class and suitable for all body types and abilities. Perfect for those who have always wanted to try it!  Mats and other supplies will be available. Starts at 5:00 pm.  No fee.

March  6, 2017: Community Garden Night

Guest speaker from Sand Springs Ranch will provide a workshop on the following details:

•  Starting your own seedlings
• The importance of good quality seed
• Companion and rotation planting
• Easy ways to improve your soil
• The benefits of eating with the seasons

Participants will have a chance to ask any questions they may have related to seeds and planting! Workshop starts at 7:00 pm. No fee.

March 18, 2017:  St. Patrick’s Day Dance- Playground Fundraiser!

Perogy dinner will be served at 6:30 pm with a dance to follow.  Music by Big A Entertainment (DJ).  Cash bar.  Members and Guests.

Ticket fees:  Adult:$25.00  Children 6-12 years:$10.00  Children 5 & under:free.
